Goods and Services Tax

NZ goods and services tax (GST) is a tax (currently 12.5%) which is only payable for items that are sold within New Zealand. All prices on this website now contain GST.

Nearly all NZ stores have the tax included so it isn't added later at the till...........and if they don't, it's usually clearing stated that it's excluded.

Below is an example of a $100 item (with GST of 12.5% it comes to $112.50).
To remove the tax, choose the overseas option from the popup in the "Select Sales Tax" option.
The third picture shows the result as how the order would end up.

$112.50 x 8 = $900

$900 / 9 = $100.

You are removing 1/9 (11.11%) of the taxed price to get back to the original pretax price.
